Hello there, this is Katana, also known as Kat in some circles. I'm your friendly neighborhood twenty-two-year-old illustrator/writer whose sarcasm is second to none and harboring the ability to verbalize the parentheses in stories. I drink coffee and draw like an addict and am liable to get you into things that I like. Currently the wielder of a BFA in Illustration and a minor in English.
Questions? Comments? Death threats? Feel free to PM or message me in some iteration. I'm always around, you just don't know it.

Cleaned my room yesterday. By that I mean I cleaned the channel between my bed and my window, which becomes a major dumping ground every few months.
Found my copy of Sims 2 in the process of cleaning. Uh-oh...
At the end of June, I'm being carted off to a Japanese festival by the Japanese-friend-o'-mine, Terumi. And Jiaqi will be there too.
Anyways, with this being a Japanese festival, we've been batting around the ideas of getting yukatas. In August there's going to be a more-bigger-deal festival that I'd really like to have one for, but I still wouldn't mind having one for the June one either.
I do feel a bit weird, however, looking at them and getting one. I think it's just that whole "when do I cross into weeaboo" territory line that I'm hedging. Grant it, this is for a legit reason, and I wouldn't wear it anywhere else, but...okay, yeah, that's really all I have to say about it. :V
After that, my biggest hurdle is color/design and then wondering what in the world I could do with my hair. (Terumi said no to the goggles. :< *shot*)
Quick picture post from my Friday at ACen.

Some pictures before I go off to the con for the day. I don't see it being very busy, just more scoping stuff out and taking it easy.
Open up the newspaper to their "what to do this weekend" guide and, once again, BAM front page:
But then I looked to the inside cover, where they have showings of what's going on in the two arenas/the one con center we have in this area and noticed ACen has a pal...
And for some reason, I just find that one really funny...(Last year it was an electrical show. Oooh the combinations we get.)
I have forgotten how fantastically awful daytime television is. lolMaury
Also, my parents recorded the PBS broadcast of Hamlet (the one with David Tennant and freakin' Patrick Stewart) for me, which I'm slowly hacking away at.
So in lieu of Maury, I'll be watching Tennant-filled Hamlet. :B
