Hello there, this is Katana, also known as Kat in some circles. I'm your friendly neighborhood twenty-two-year-old illustrator/writer whose sarcasm is second to none and harboring the ability to verbalize the parentheses in stories. I drink coffee and draw like an addict and am liable to get you into things that I like. Currently the wielder of a BFA in Illustration and a minor in English.

Questions? Comments? Death threats? Feel free to PM or message me in some iteration. I'm always around, you just don't know it.

"Some of the great artists of our time started off by doodling in class. ...Maybe. Oh heck I dunno."

Day one

To those who were in semi-good moods and wanted to say things but didn't want to: Thank you for ruining my mood.

In other news, the whole Kastkat thing is...canon? I dunno. But we talked about it and decided to give it a go, as neither of us had really any other opportunity. We're confused as to what to do, but as evident by stories shared today in my AP Art class, long-distance relationships are not out of the ordinary, particularly at this age. The circumstances may be different, but it's still pretty much the same.

I'm scared but at the same time happy. This is nervewracking but fun. In truth, I'm a bit terrified at tall of this, I really am. But...who knows. Let's see how it goes.

AP Art was a show-and-tell. I was very nonchalant the whole day - just, well, normal me. But then as I was fixing myself some coffee during art, I was attacked, and yikes was it a bit overwhelming. Also I feel like an incredible dork for the whole "internet" thing, but in the words of Nicole, "Hey, nothin' wrong with the internet!" (She has personal experience with her dad.)

So that's that.

Three days until the end of senior year.

It figures

Seventeen years of existence (almost eighteen), and the first boy that says he would ask me out is also the one that lives in Canada.

God, life sucks.

The aftermath of AP

Wow, what a joke.

I'm not allowed to talk about the contents of the test, but I can talk about how I did. Sooo...

Multiple choice was to last for an hour. We started at about 8:15. Around 8:17, a gym teacher knocks on the door, then unlocks it himself, before coming in and asking - very loudly - where the teacher was. Nobody said a word, just hissed some "shh" and gave him death glares.

After that it was quiet. The first passage had me writhing in agony, but the rest were much more on par with my brain. I ended up finishing at least twenty minutes early, so I doodled on the last page of the test booklet (which was free to be marked up). First was a chibi Kat sitting at a desk with a pencil stabbed in her head with blood dripping down the face and going "*gurgle*". Second was of Crow panicking about the forthcoming essays.

Ten minute break...just milling about and eating crackers...then we came back. We had two hours to write three essays.

Um, I finished in one hour. WTF me.

I referenced the SoL, Rocketship X-M, and the Peter Graves speech in the first essay. The second I had to really stretch to make it a page, and the third was...the third. I'm definitely a quality over quantity person.

Shooting for a 4...

Kat: *panics*

The AP English Language and Composition test is today, and starts in about an hour. I'm...in a mild state of panic. I've never taken an AP test before, so I really don't know how this is going to throw down.

More after school.

In other news, my husband posted up part 3 of the ACen montage, which has closing thoughts from me, Kast, Ryu, and Schultzie. More sentimental, little bit of humor. Part 2 is still my favorite. XD

*breathes* Merrrr...here I go.

Kastkat

I'm involved in a ship now, I guess. It's called Kastkat, or KxK, or just pure and simple Chack. And, well...ugh, just read the damn thing. >_>; Adam: everyone, i have a HUGE announcement to make Michiyo Shimizu: lol...
