lol. Nice. I knew quite a few people like that in High School. I personally didn't care cause I read so fast. Any book we'd have to read or anything, I'd generally read several times over before anyone else was even half done.
My only suggestion: better get used to NOT doing that if you plan on going to University/College. I know a few people that are doing that here that got 80s and 90s in High School, and are now failing miserably. Although it's slightly different since I'm in Science and unless you take an elective, you don't have anything to read except the textbook (but only the really determined ones read them).

I never took that kind of shortcut whenever I had to read books. I'd just skim through them and mark eveything I could find that would seem relevant to the essay/report. But then, I am a masochist...
I do hate how every teacher seems to assign a mountain of work. Even if you pace yourself, it's still not enough time sometimes. Especially in college, when you might have 3 or 4 classes, each of which assigns several books.
