... even if most people can't stand to watch the rest of the Monty Python stuff...
This is just so wrong. Monty Python's Flying Circus is ten times better than The Holy Grail. It just gets flack because it's a series rather than a movie, which means more opportunities for flops. And yeah, some of the skits flop right on their figurative faces. But I still think overall the show is funnier.
I don't even really think about Pixar being the parent company when I watch a Pixar movie; if anything, since I'm always late to the game, I have to deal with the hype than anything else. For me, it's just movie time. Same goes for Dreamworks having a stigma of hit-or-miss movies - it doesn't affect me going into it. I knew virtually nothing going into seeing HTTYD (since I tend to live in an isolated bubble during the school year) and was blown away by it. I finally saw Cars on a band trip and felt very "meh" about it.

I think Cars takes a bit more heat than it should because of the company it's associated with. If Dreamworks or Fox had made it, it would have been a fine movie, it's just that it doesn't live up to the lofty standards Pixar is usually setting for themselves. It's no Monsters, Inc. or UP, but it's not a bad movie at all. It's just Pixar's little way of saying "guys, seriously. We're in a pretty good place if this is the absolute worst we can do".

So many more boobs than I remembered in Dirty Harry. I think that's why it was really called "Dirty Harry"!

@Ducky:
I've seen bits and pieces of the show, but it's pretty true that most people who've seen Holy Grail don't watch Flying Circus. Just sayin'.

You also spelled "true" as "ture".

I need to get another copy of Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I lost my special edition one. . .
