Dr. Whoof. Nicknamed by the fandom after they noticed the hourglass cutie mark and the fact that his mane bears a bit of a resemblance to David Tennant's hair. They haven't really acknowledged it as a reference in-show yet, but he's been appearing more often since /co/ latched on to him.
Current fanon seems to have it that his companion is Derpy Hooves (the pony in my avatar), who may or may not be indirectly responsible for every major disaster in the history of the world by now.
