Gotcha. That makes sense - it certainly has that "we're taking this over now, in the name of fun and sillyness" feel to it. That, to me, was always the heart of this site. So I totally get what you're saying, about it being sad that the news / comments have become seemingly less important.
Otaku Cage Match was always a sort of gorilla post, where it would take over the comment boxes for the podcast. It's part of the reason it was so disappointing to move to Version Vibrant; suddenly news posts weren't that important and comment boxes ceased to be of much use. :(

Is the Otaku Cage Match something that you would want to make a World for? Or is it something that needs to live elsewhere on the site, and just take over other comments boxes, guerilla style?
I'm like, the least productive member of this "community" ever. Like, I do nothing here. But I'll give you a comment! And try to be helpful! Even though I never like... post or comment or go into chat or submit art (hahahaha).
(My world is still number 52 though, how the heck did that happen?)
To dust off an old quote, we produce good spam. We make the kind of spam that is NOT found in a can. Rather, it is somewhat intellectual in that it appears intellectual, being thought-out and all.
I was going to start a story post yesterday, where I made a post that started a tale and then the comments continued it, like a role play at a forum. But I got scared off by the "I dunno that might count as spam" card.
And at this point, we don't know if Adam's going to pull that card. It depends on how lazy he feels, and knowing Adam...
No, you're right. This is like a community rallying to fix up the town before it gets bulldozed by some multi-billionaire who wants to turn it into a golf course.

Oh hey, it passed 5,000 comments. Now what? Oh, and I helped! Seriously, put me down for 1 comment.
(I have no idea what is going on, feel free to ignore me.)

(The numbers haven't shifted in years. I'm still number 26 for whatever reason, and I know by now that number is terribly off.)

I like Spam, both the intellectual kind and the kind from a can. :D
There needs to be more Cage Matches, if there isn't one already in progress. That was so much fun.
Be true, be you and of course, be otaku.

This is sort of like, How the Adam Stole New Years, or something like that. Don't give me that look, it's completely valid.
