I do not have a similar experience with the scar on my left hand. It was a third degree burn and no hairs will grow on the scar tissue. Different scars, different locales. But come on, how often do I get to compare scars with people?!

It might be because mine was basically a cut (more like a cleave) and there's very minimal scar tissue. And it's on my face. :(
