Good luck with your job! Personally I found having a job through high school really useful (I was, and still am a lifeguard/swim instructor). You have a bunch of extra pocket change, you can save up for university/college if you plan on going, and it teaches you some good life skills.

I always wanted to bus as a high school job . . . it never really panned out . . . ah well.

It's a nice way to get your foot into the restaurant business, though. Leads to some neat things to see, you appreciate the service/retail industry so much more which generally changes your outlook on life . . . annnnnnd you gonn' get paid.
