HAY GAIZ
So woah holy crap has it been a busy two days. XD Quick run down:
1.) I have been making friends. Huzzah!
2.) My roommate is not here yet.
3.) I'm antsy for classes to start.
4.) This campus internet does not suck. :D
I've woken up early for three days straight now, and my brain is going "wtf" at me. But hey!
Thursday move-in went very smoothly. We were here around the time they started (9am), so I was all done by around 10:15. Walked around a little, went out for an early lunch at Steak 'n Shake, came back to the dorm. After my parentals left, I set up the ethernet access for Piers. I had my door propped open with a case of Coke Zero, so people would walk by and say hi or wave and stuff.
I popped my head out into the hallway and saw a girl standing there, kind of antsy. I'm right across the hall from the cleaning supplies room (vacuums, sinks to wash stuff in, mops, ironing boards), right next to a hallway that connects the two sides of the dorm, three doors down from the bathroom...sweet location. ANYWAY, this girl was standing in the hallway-connector, and I just said "Hey. ...My roommate's not here yet." "Oh, mine either."
So we talked and then she went to her room with her parents to move in. I went back to my room and drew a chibi for my door (see next page). In the middle of coloring, this girl Julia (aka Jules) came back and hung around, but her dad was like "OH HAI WHO ARE YOU".
"You wanna come to Walmart?"
"Uh..."
"C'mon, let's go to Walmart!"
And thusly, I was kidnapped to Walmart by Jules and her parents. And - and they bought me stuff! o___o I grabbed things for my room, like air fresheners (mainly for the closet) and a power strip and a stool, fully ready to pay for it myself and they bought them for me and baaaaw. ;___;
When we got back, Jules and I hung out and wandered the floor. The room next to hers had the door open, and I was met with a very pretty PS2 and XBox 360. And that is how I met Ross (in before Catching Trouble jokes), who invited me to play Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia whenever I want to. 83

And he likes anime and stuff and it was awesome. XD Jules doesn't (she's not into it), so as we geeked, she stood there with a hugely blank look on her face.
I left the campus around 5 to go home, pick up some things I had forgotten, and then went to the theater to meet up with Waffuru and Ryu to see RiffTrax Live. But first we went to McDonalds. XD
RT Live was amazing. And - and Mike was in an orange t-shirt! And he was really hot! And oh my God I'm fangirling over a 44-year-old who's married and has kids that are just a wee bit younger than me. ;___;
I'll make a post about that later. Ryu and I did a video review but YouTube is being a whore of whores with it.
But if they ever do it again, guys, you have to go.
