Ahaha yeah I know what you mean. I used to be a straight A student, but then high school came, and it got harder...so I slipped a bit. But a few months ago, my progress report (strictly progress, not report) came in and I had straight A's for the first time in a while. And they were like

Holy cow you're sucha hard worker good girl Imma go buy you whatever you want! (within reason)
