They are X3 I'm the stick in the proverbial mud in that group XD lolz theywillnotatleastnotonpurposeufufufuuu =eAe;= Yeah, I know what you mean =/ If we interbreed everyone, there will be no "pure bloods" left =eue= Ohoho~ *is smacked with a laserbeam* Nah, I don't think thee are any "pure" anythings nowadays... Still, I like diversity =P Especially Asian diversity =eue= *is smacked with a tractor beam* XD;
That's not the point, they don't care too much about what you've been paid, they just want to see what you can do. It's like in a video game where you need money, but in order to get bigger amounts, you first have to fight these little small-fry that are only worth 1-3 monies =P And I meant commissions in the meantime until I can find a job =P If I don't find one soon, that is...
... I'm so using that line for one of my creepy pervs X3 lolz
Ah, that sounds like a fun family...untiltheystabyouintheback...if they did that it'd hurt even worse...>3> But...gahh...I REALLY hate racism or anything about complaining about a Mexican or something like that...it makes me feel even more mad when there are people who think that just because THEY'RE a minority they can diss other minorities which is totally wrong and you should discriminate against anyone...>3> Sorry, it's just almost every person I've met don't like Hispanics where I live (I say almost because there are some that don't care and some who embrace the culture with love).
Oh, yeah, but you don't get paid with volunteering!...'orz You don't have that paying stress. Commissions COULD be good, but I've never really heard of it majorly helping anybody...Maybe commissions AND a job? That's probably would I'd do...XD
You have to feel the bad in order to get to the good...
....something about that statement sounded pretty creepy! TT^TT
Well, it's kinda different with my family. I mean, yeah, my dad's side of the family is kinda difficult sometimes because they like to debate and stuff, but my mom's side is nice =3 They like parties and get-togethers with karaoke and dancing and food and stuff X3 I don't think I have any racist relatives, but I do have an aunt (Dad's side) that would say "What?? You're dating a Mexican?! Why can't you find a nice black man?!" ... Which made me upset at the time. Still kinda does. I think she's mellowed, tho. X3
Yeah, that's what I hear, but I have gotten some experience working since my scholarship required that I do community service in return for receiving it. Volunteer work is probably one of the faster way to gain enough experience for a job =3 And I guess if I can't find any regular work, I could consider doing commissions and freelance work. Ah, it wasn't so much that I wasn't allowed to until after college, but that's more or less how it worked out... =<,<;=
I get what you're saying, but it didn't feel too great... I was worried I was at a snapping point... ='_';= At least I can cry again =P
Oh, pah! I ignore the rest of my family. If they don't agree with what I'm doing then oh, well, I don't care about you either. Plus my other family is much different from my immediate family...like my grandparents are somewhat racist (can't believe it) and my mom's younger sisters are just nuts...O.o; They're sooo rude. But that's my family and relations. You probably think of your family completely differently! But my point is that most families (not immediate families here) can be disapproving, but they're not your immediate families so you shouldn't care what you think, plus many of them live different lives than you and think differently.
Oh, well, see, you need experience to get a job in the first place. It's better if you drop that funky tasting sandwich than drop that delicious sandwich that you've finally gotten after so much hard work...;m; My parents won't let me get a job until I graduate college...O.o;
I've always felt that it's good to freak out because if you're relaxed all the time you're probably never going to fix any problems. Peace and paradise aren't exactly wonderful things because they stop productivity and advancement...It's a good feeling because it tells you that something is wrong and something should be done
(Sorry if whatever I said made no sense...Two flies are mating next to my ear...TT^TT )
Well, I can't just make any choice while I live here. If I make bad choices, I'd push my mother too far and get kicked out. And I am in no way prepared to live anywhere else.
Ah, well it's not as much immediate family that I was thinking of as aunts, uncles, and great aunts... But I'm also thinking in the past. It's an accumulation of thoughts... orz
I haven't... I thought I stuck that somewhere in my panicked rant XD;; But that's what I've been saying! D=> Experience! My mom thinks I'm scared to get a job in my field, which may be somewhat true, but I want experience working at a job I might've gotten as a teen had there not been so many intrusions... "orz Although one job interview was probably my fault that I lost it, but I was young and didn't know anything =>_<;=
I may be over exaggerating... I don't know if they look down on me so much as I feel that way... I feel like they may be annoyed/disappointed in me, tho...
I don't hate my family... I love them =;_;= But it's really difficult to feel at home with a father that's not himself anymore.
Thanks =^_^;= I think I'll feel somewhat more at ease once I manage to find a job. At least I won't feel like a total leech around here... =(= w =;)=
Y'know...it makes me mad that your family would act that way. I understand you're freaking out right now and might be putting things out of proportion, but from the sound if it, you have every right to freak out.
But most people don't immediately get their dream job. Have you even had a job before? I think it's best to get a regular job than a dream job and accidentally fail at your dream job because you don't have an experience even having a job (how depressing would that be). You should do whatever you can and what to do to give yourself more experience. It's your life so you should be able to do what you want to do.
Shame on them for looking down on you in any way. Don't they realize that just makes you distance yourself from them more.
But look at it this way, you won't be as sad when you eventually move out! XD
Brave it for now, even though I know you've been doing this for a while. TT^TT

Dude dude, breath and relax. Freakin' dont fix nothin'
Don't listen to what others might think about what you do okay. Its your life, your choice, you live it how you want to. If you work in a Office supply store its better then the next guy working at Burger king or the guy who works in an office with a lot of stress.
And you know what, My parents say the same thing about Collage. I will probably do the same as you, get a job that i didnt take classes for.
The whole thing about the not giving up, thats good. it means your determined. And marry who you want, not what people think you should do.

I'm feeling much pressure... *is hit for being repetitive*
I suppose. But at the same time, I feel I can't just do whatever I want when I'm still living at home with my parents and siblings...
My determination is actually quite thin nowadays... Did I say something about not giving up...? I can't even remember, this post was a blur... ='_';=
Thanks, me too...
