I don't ever expect anything to arrive in less than 4 days unless it ships from in-state or a nearby city. It very much depends on where it's shipped from, too.
Agh, I feel that way once I know it has shipped. Once it tells me something has shipped then I await the package. If it doesn't come in liike two days then I freak out...'orz
Most people work from home when they're alone or don't have much family in their household to worry about. So even if you did like your home, I don't think it'd be a good idea.
The waiting only gets to me when I know it's almost time for the package to arrive XD Then I'm like "Is it here? Is it here?" and checking the mailbox and whatnot X3;
Yep ='w';= Although if I felt comfortable in my own home, I'd be tempted to work from home =P
I like the feeling of getting something in the mail, but the waiting kills me...'orz I don't know why it does, but I can never do anything when I wait.
Ah, outside, yeah, that makes sense! XD I'd probably do the same thing, too, if I were in your situation.
I'm ok with waiting for things to ship. I like the idea that something's coming for me in the mail. Also, it keeps the delivery/mail people in business =3 I understand what you mean, tho X3;
Yes. Admittedly, I could probably find freelance work online, but I would like a job outside of the house so I can escape... er, get some fresh air XD; Also, I'll be completely useless unless I can get some more work experience =>.<;=
Yeahh....but sometimes the shipping can be a pain...that's why I like having specialty stores that only sell in the category I want instead of super stores like Wal-mart that sell a LITTLE BIT of everything so everyone has to go buy online...well...buying online DOES save gas, but it's more fun to go to your favourite store and buy you lovely manga or something...>3>
I know EVERYTHING IS ONLINE! MONEY IS ONLINE! I'm beginning to feel like I'm living in a fantasy world and the fantasy world in my head is the reality because we actually pay in cash in my fantasy world...>3>
Lol, I did XD Although I spent a little more than I planned, but I think that's because I also had to pay for gas and a couple thing for groceries... orz And I would say the last part of that paragraph explains why they're closing XD; Because people don't want to order a book in-store if they don't have it, it's easier to search online =>u>;=
Yeah, I went over to Office Max and Michael's to ask if they were hiring. Office Max just said applications were online and Michael's said they weren't hiring now, but their applications are also online... EVERYTHING'S ONLINE! XD; I could've stayed here, but it gave me a chance to check out the new Michael's =3 I hope they expand the art section over time =>u>;=
I wanted to work at Office Max first, anyway XD lolz
Hey, don't worry about seeming like all your posts are about you being depressed, it's good to get that stuff out! And GO BUY THAT MANGA! I'm sure it'll make you feel better (it usually makes me feel better XD). But that's so depressing that Borders is closing...and I've never even been there! ;m; It seems like they're closing down a lot of book stores...WAI!? Because everyone's buying their books online? Well, do you know why? Because they don't have any store to go to because you guys keep closing down! >:[ I wish they'd stop doing that. I can never buy manga anymore because Barnes&Nobles never has anything good...>3> Or they DO but it's the completely wrong volume...why do they have just random volumes!?
And if you don't like your job at Micheal's then you can always get a new job! And just keep going through that until you can understand what you're looking for. For some jobs it's hard to keep doing that, but for starter jobs it's a bit easier because you don't have anything absolutely specific that you're looking for.
Good luck job hunting. I hope you'll feel better
I've been to Michael's and bought art supplies from there. I usually go to Hobby Lobby.
Its a shame about Borders but at least there's Barnes and Noble :D
