Ah, constructive... Well, I'm happy with it, even if it's only a hat X3 When I can make those insane cosplay outfits... Well, I think I'd just stop believing that anything I do is real or something XD; I don't think I'd get that far unless I get hard-core into cosplaying XD;

My mom did that when I was little, too, but I always messed up...most crafts I fail at, I just don't have the hands or mind to sew, stitch, crochet...;m;

Haha! XD I was intimidated by the sewing machine also...and so I never sewed...'orz...XD It's good that you decide to do something constructive instead of nothing at all (like me).

Yeah, since my mom is really into crafts and stuff, she taught me a little when I was younger. And because I was intimidated by the sewing machine, I'd hand stich things XD; I made myself a drawstring bag out of spare sparkly fabric a long time ago and I'm using it now as a camera bag XD

But I think the whole thing about merchandise at cons is they gather all the stuff in one place. Maybe even stuff you wouldn't have thought of buying online if you didn't see it at the con X3 One way or another, they're selling merchandise =P

Thank you =^_^= I probably should've started on it yesterday, but I couldn't really get into it, also, I didn't have th hat pattern, and I didn't want to wake my mom =^^;= She helped me a bit with setting up the sewing machine and tips on where to line things up and such. =3 But yeah, the horns are hand-stitched because things get tight and tricky, especially when I had to attach the third piece... wouldn't have worked well on the machine. Also, it's my first hat XD

Haha! XD I usually do at conventions. I need to learnt to buy imported stuff online at cheaper prices...XD 'cause I heard most of the stuff at cons go up even higher than before.

I was about to tell you some things to make you more excited than nervous...but I think it's good to be nervous before things, because then when you realize it's alright then you feel 10 times happier and relieved than if you were already excited.

There are many things at conventions that look cool to buy...but what would you do with the flying fishes besides race them? XD
