I hardly feel like I should email Eoin Colfer over his writing style... I could understand spelling and grammar errors, but emailing to say his style's changed is a touchy subject. Maybe if I'd met him in person and it came up in conversation, but not in an email...
Ah, I understand how that is...ruining the joke....I see that in movies at a lot...;m;
And I'm sure you CAN e-mail them about it or something...ask them what happened or something. My same friend I said earlier e-mailed the author of one of the books he was reading asking why there were so many spelling mistakes in it and the guy e-mailed back saying that he either didn't have a good editor or he was really young...I can't remember which (this story was told a long time ago...XD).
Well, it's not a completely romantic book, but that's it's basis. That three men were jealous of Edmond Dantes' success so they framed him for a serious crime (treason, not murder! XD)...and it was mainly the guy who was jealous of Edmond's romance that carried out the framing all for love...of somebody who would never love him and told him that several times...O.o;
Let's just call it blue-purple and be even XD (Or is it indigo...?)
I really like them. They're easy to read, but still rather sophisticated. However, I feel like maybe the author was going through something when he wrote the 7th book, because it didn't quite feel right this time. Or maybe that's the point he's trying to make. Still, his overall style seemed to have altered as he pointed out some obvious things that might not have needed explaining in some points, which bothered me. It's like, I'm about to laugh at an implied hilarity and then the nest line practically explains the joke. The takes the fun out of it... Kinda wish I could tell the author, but *shrugs* What can I do? I didn't used to like reading much, but I actually started enjoying it more after I read the first Harry Potter book, which I was reluctant to read because my grandma got it for me. Usually, they didn't seem interesting, but I'd heard people talking about how interesting it was, so I read and loved it. Re/Kindled my love for reading a good story~
Yeah, I really disliked reading assignments... But it only got worse in some ways... I did like the Classroom in a Book books, which are moreso step-by-step, hands-on instructions.
Sounds rather interesting X3 And I do enjoy a good romance X3
Pfft, pfft...don't get me started with my colours...I'm probably colour blind, every bet I lost had to do what colour something was...but I think it also depends on the quality of the picture for piccolo, I've always seen it as purple....XD There are some purples that are technically purples, but they look exactly like blue...O.o; But, anyways, he's purple, just not bright purple.
Ah, I've heard of those books, but I've never read them. My friend in elementary/middle school was REALLY into Artemis Fowl books and read all of them...at the time....I don't know if they made more...but he was the English genius guy back then...XD While he's finishing the series I'm on, I can only get past the first chapter...;m; I don't read too many books, I'm just very picky...
Agh, textbooks...why do they make the chapters so loong...they're ridiculous...in fact, they make it so you DON'T want to read it. I have another textbook that is short and sweet and I've read through it several times and I've learned a lot from it, but these giant textbooks they give you in school, I read the whole chapter and it makes absolutely no sense...I read it again, still nothing mainly because I keep falling asleep!
But you probably won't fall asleep with The Count of Monte Cristo it has mystery, philosophy, revenge, love (lots of love, everyone seems to try and get somebody...which makes it interesting! XD), murder, ghost stories, and lots of things that you'd want in any good book and the characters are soooo so lovable~! <333 Even the annoying ones! XD They just make it interesting.
Yes, do indeed X3 I'm trying not to spend any more money until I can get a job or more money... Not unless it more necessary. I'll put it on my X-mas list since it's aorund that time. If I don't get it for X-mas, I'll just wait until I have enough extra cash for it. (Well, we didn't get back together, if that's what you mean. I don't know if it was clean or not...) Ah, it's 3D, but still cool. You may fall for Isaac when you see him X3 Oooh~! Just for him alone, I'm tempted to get the game right now! X3 Ah yes, the wolf game X3 I've heard of it and seen the fanart for it. Mostly gijinka fanart XD
Yeah!! Don't let PS2 drown!! It's beautiful!! And full of wonders!! COOLIO, DUDE!!! I'M SOOOOO GOING TO GO GET IT!!! You go get your copy as well (i hope it was a clean break for you ppl!) is it 3D or 2D? I have a secret love for 2D games since Sonic >_<, but now I'm cool with 3D if it's like KH or FF or something else that's good. Oh, Okami!! If you like Jap. myth/action/adventure/humor games, this would be great for you. I love it!!! It's beautiful and i will buy Okami games from now until the end of time. So. Not much Dracula, which is cool. I'm fine with him... but i kinda... don't like him from this really oooooold Dracula game i used to play
Oh, kk. I hope you get some energy back Kitty-sama!!
Oh yes, it's for the PS2 =3 I do love me some PS2 and I stick by it for as long as there are games I can play on it and as long as it lasts X3 Which should be a long time if I take good care of it =3 Ah, Dracula actually doesn't make much of an appearance in this one... well he does, but I'll leave that to you to find out X3 I highly recommend the game, it's rather fun and you can steal from monsters~ Which is essential for things. But I haven't played it in so long... I borrowed it from my bf back then (my ex, now), but I want to actually own the game so I can play it again X3.
Oh, he's fine now. At least he's back to how he was before he entered the hospital which is not much of a change. It's frustrating, his condition and I'm just mentally drained of it.
Is it a DS game? or something? ^-^ or perhaps... *thumps tail* a PS2 game?!!! I love my PS2!! It's like my lover... and I love it... and everything... but lately I feel like ppl are trying to abandon it, and that makes me said. It's like GBA all over again. But what is the Castlevania game about? Dracula is a part of it, right?
Ohhh Kitty-sama, I have read your below posts! ;__; hopefully your dad gets better, dude!! I can' very well say don't get tired, but things get better!! They go up and down but they go back up again!! That's our ocean of life!! I promise you that!!! And if it doesn't, you can wring me and my PS2 dry!!
Ahaha, yes, I like the one with Issac better, but I thought I should change it every once in a while. X3 He's from the only Castlevania game I've ever played, which is Curse of Darkness, which I really enjoy X3
Oh that... I never thought of it as purple... It's like, blue violet or something... But it has more blue than purple, I think... It's both XD;
Well, no, I suppose it's not following the list I don't like, it's actually making the list. It stresses me out to see how much I have to do...
Well, the second book was an Artemis Fowl book... my previous record for one of those was 3 days... and I'd gotten a color-flash migraine during one of them... Oh, I don't think that was it... I think I just kinda paced myself stopping at certain points because I didn't want it to be over too quickly. It was actually really interesting and I wanted to keep reading. I'm currently reading Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts. My mom asked me to read it a long time ago, but I never got around to it because of college stuff... Now I figure is good a time as any.
I was going to say... 12 page chapters aren't really long, but if we're talking front and back, then that makes it 24, which is actually the size of an average chapter. I've had to read textbook chapters that are 3 times as long. Maybe I may fall asleep during it... Actually, there's a book I never finished from the library back in high school... I think I could manage now, but I'm trying to remember the title... Cat's Eye... Cat's Paw... Something like that... May not be as thick as the Count, but it was pretty thick back then. And it was a bit more mature than any other book I'd read back then... I wonder if my library card still works...? XD But maybe I'll give both a go once I've finished the books around here.
He was green and pink, but he wore purple...so to me I mostly saw purple and green.
Ah, really? ;m; Lists are my lovers...*cough* XD But I can understand what you mean. FOLLOWING a list can be stressful because you're waiting for the end of it, but making them is fun~! :D
And, wow! You read fast! Yeah, I've noticed that, too, about shorter books...maybe it's that since it's so short you don't think it'll take that long so it's grueling to read it compared to something that you expect not to end for a while...O.o;
I think The Count of Monte Cristo hasssss about 120 chapters and all the chapters are fairly thick (12 pages) and the text is tiny and squished into the page...after reading it for a long time it's weird to read a book with normal sized text...XD You may also fall asleep, but I've found myself trying to stay away as hard as I could because there was rarely a time when I actually got bored! *.*
He has purple...? *thinks* Ah, I don't feel like making the effort, but I guess I'll take your word for it. Though I don't remember purple, but then again, I don't remember a lot of things...
I don't like lists... they stress me out... However, I did say that I was going to read more books since I haven't really had time during college. I've read two so far since this past week. (finished the other in a day) Actually, it's funny, but the shorter book took me longer to finish and the longer book took me less XD
Aww, it's okay. No pressure on being active on the internet! XD
Green and purple are the colours of Piccolo from DBZ~! :D...Sorry...XD I think at one time they were my favourite colours just for that reason.
Aww, cheer up~! Go make a list of some goals (because lists are always fun). I find that exciting and stimulating, even if you end up not trying to go for them the next day...or write down a to do list every now and then and force yourself to follow them. I sometimes feel down when I have long breaks because I have nothing to do (even though I actually do, just don't want to do anything). Maybe if you give yourself some work to do on your own you'll feel better, try something new?
Aww, thank you~! And don't worry! I don't really care where I am on lists...XD Just that my name is on there...XD
Oh I'm sorry =OAO;= I haven't really been too active with much lately... orz *fail*
Yep. It's been my favorite for a while. It used to be green, then green and purple XD Then I changed it to blue X3;
Ah, maybe they seem practical because I've been feeling like crap lately... =>3>= I didn't really care as much to make my answers more fancy XD I might've gotten more creative with the pokemon one but I was all "Ugh, Pikachu? Go eat some pellets and bother me another day, I have no time for your electrical cuteness" XD;
Still feel a bit like a pile of crap, but it's on and off *shrugs*
You don't have to do it if you don't want to. You're just one of the first people I think of when I wanna tag somebody, since you're mostly the one who comments on my posts X3 (Pay no mind to the fact that your name's not higher up in the list... I was going alphatbetically up to a certain point, then realized I needed to have 11 people tagged.. mrrrph =>_<=)
Oh! Thanks for the tag~! I actually tagged you some time ago, but I was too lazy to tell anybody that I tagged...XD For a moment there I was in despair because I hadn't tagged you, but nope, I did!
But I'll do it anyways!
