I was at school...and skipping a very boring class...I was laying on the roof-top, a sunny day in the north of Tokyo (sunny for a winter day)...I was throwing up and down an apple from a bunch that was surrounding me; then I threw one straight up...very high and something caught it ‘cause it stopped right there in the air, I could see the shape of it...
“Long time no see...Ryuk...”
The shinigami came down on the roof while devouring the apple.
“Hey J.J-chan...Have more?”
“Always greedy...yes I have if you are willing to talk...”
“Okay...”
“Getting bored again no?...have a new owner or just taking a long walk through the human realm?”
“You already know everything...why ask me? I want another one...can I?”
“Sure” I throw him another one, from the bunch.
“Who’s is it?”
“What?...the Note?...I don’t know I found it.” said Ryuk
“Liar...you found it before me?”
“Well I was around when it lost the Note...”
“You stole it...”
“No...”
“Okay...that is fine with me, but I’m warning you, I’ll keep an eye on you...”
“Yeah...sure like always...” and then he took some more apples from the ground and flew away.
“Hey I’m not done with you! Don’t you run, you...”
“You’re not done...with who?” said Rei from the door...
“Damn! for how long was she standing there...” I got up and looked at her very shocked...”Now I’ve done it, because I’m still a little tired I can not sense the people approaching me...damn...” then calmly I said “Did I said something?”
“Yes...” said Rei
“No I didn’t.”
“But I heard you...”
“No you didn’t...you heard nothing...understood?” I said a little irritated
“But...” Rai said kind of confused
“Did I said something?”
“Something...when?” asked Rei
“I don’t know...”
“Right...”
“Why did you came here?” I asked with the most innocent voice
“To tell you that class is over...it’s sport class now, you have to get changed...”
“Sure...I’ll be there in a minute...”
I heard Ryuk laughing... “Shut your mouth you idiot...”
While going down the stairs, Rei asked me:
“J-chan...did you ever got the feeling that you forgot to say or do something?”
“Yes...but if I forget, that means it’s not so important...”
“Yeah, perhaps you are right...”
“That was close, I hate to erase people’s memories while playing with their minds and I know it is forbidden to do it...but if I don’t have a choice...”

So here is a small meeting between 2 "old friends". Here is the first time J.J shows a little more of the power she possesses. Oh and I moved the date a little...so it's already February ^_____^

On a rooftop near SK’s place, Minami was watching Yami how he works his “magic”
“The way he is killing...by using the Note, very original my friend...but you made quite a mess lil’ man, all this blood made by one little Note and a pen...” he smiled and then lighted another cigar... “Damn this is boring, to hell with all of you.” He saw SK putting something on the door step...a note, after that he saw a woman approaching... “hmmmm...what do we have here? The lil’ lady, is she gonna go to your place and you two have some fun...” Minami saw SK talking to that woman, she took the note from the door step. “I can hear them, if I want, but if I hear something not good, I still have to report to the Mistress and she won’t like it, I don’t make the Mistress mad about a stupid misunderstanding.” He saw SK and the woman going in the direction of SK’s house. “So you two really are going to his place...interesting.” Minami followed them jumping from rooftop to rooftop until he arrived at SK’s building rooftop...and then Minami sensed something different in the air...or someone....
“What the...” he said out loud because he saw someone already sitting on another rooftop in front of him, that person approached him and was only a few feet away. When he realized who it was...he said pissed:
“This is not good...”
“Yes indeed, Miss has to know about this.” said the person not so surprised.
“Yup and fast.” Said Minami. “So this is your target...hmmmm nice...”
“Stop fooling around and let’s go already, Miss has to know.” said Nishi.
“Hai hai, wakarimashita yo...”
The last thing they saw was SK and the woman who went in his building.
Meanwhile, I was on the sofa eating some dark chocolate, when I heard the door, I turned around to see who was it and said “Someone is home.” I said to myself.
“Okaeri...nasai?” I was with a piece of chocolate from the bar half in my mouth almost falling...(I don’t eat from a bar very often)
“Tadaima Mistress, you look very nice with with that chocolate bar in your hand, it reminds me of the boy, nice boy he was.” Minami was talking about Mello, he king of liked Mello, because he was nothing like Light, but he kept his opinions for himself. I ignored what he said, but coudn’t avoid blushing a little, I don’t usually blush because of dead people...
“What the hell are you two doing home..and at the SAME time?!” I yelled. Silence from both of them. “Oh...I get it...naughty, naughty, gone on a date?”
“I wish...” said Minami
“The targets meet, Miss.” said Nishi totally ignoring what I was saying.
“...you don’t say...well faster than I thought.” I said ironically
“People are getting desperate...” said Minami
“So no date?” I asked again getting off the topic.
“Unfortunately no, this is a dream for me Mistress...” said Minami going along with my little game.
“Nishi?” I asked
“We are not here to discuss personal problems.” she said obviously angry
“Who said anything about being personal and I didn’t mentioned that this was a problem either.” I said. Silence...Minami looked at Nishi and she looked at me, I couldn’t tell if she was blushing or not because of her scarf that covered most of her face.
“Gotcha!” I said laughing. “So..for how long are you two together?” Nishi was just irritated by my affirmation.
“This isn’t what it looks like! In the name of Allah, stop saying nonsense things Miss...our targets met, not us...” said Nishi. Me and Minami was very amused by her reaction; I just love teasing Nishi, ‘cause sometimes she is more serious than my mother...
“And are they dating?”
“How should I know, they barely know each other...” said Nishi
“She meant to say that we don’t know, yet.” said Minami, trying to calm things down for Nishi.
“Well make sure they don’t! ‘cause love between those two is not in my plans, got it?” I said
“Yes Miss” said Nishi
“Yes Mistress” said Minami
“Now, you two go back to work and keep an eye on those two, because I want to know everything, but remember don’t get too close I don’t want you to be seen” I said
After I finished my chocolate bar I took my books and drum sticks and went to night practice, while I was moving twards the car I was thinking “They met faster than I thought, is Yami getting desperate? He’s making mistakes already and I don’t like it...maybe I should talk to him, not now, but soon.” I was by the car by the time I finished my plans.
“Ojosama?..shall we go?” asked Higashi with a worry in his voice like “Is everything okay?” or something like that.
“Yes, we shall.” I said while opening the car’s door.
Minami and Nishi were already back on the rooftop where they have met, for quite a while...they didn't miss too much. Minami said something interesting, like he could see through the walls at SK and the woman.
“Hmmm...lil’ lady, helping him with his keys ‘cause he is injured...”
“Kaori” said Nishi like she continued a lost sentence...
“What?...” asked Minami
“Her name is Kaori, not “lil’ lady", “woman” or what ever you call her...” said Nishi
“Kaori, cool name...for a killer...” Minami said sarcastically
" Are you alright? "
"...yes Mrs. Kaori I'm fine..."
...
...
“A knife?...foolish boy” said Minami, after that he looked at Nishi while he was walking away. “They will meet tomorrow...she’ll bring bento.”
“Are you listening to everything they are saying?” Nishi asked
“The Mistress did say she wanted to know everything” Minami said, but Nishi didn't said a thing. “Look your lil' lady...I mean Kaori is going home...”
“It seams our work here is done.” said Nishi
“Yeah...nice chatting with ya, I’m off home...he’s asleep...” said Minami
“I’ll follow her a little longer, until she gets home, just to be sure.” said Nishi
"Okay, see ya...and Nishi...” said Minami. She was about to go too, but she turned around and said.
“Yes? What is it?”
“Sorry about what happen earlier, at Mistress’s house...” but when he looked at that place where Nishi suppose to be, she was already gone...
“...hm...that woman...” said Minami amused...

The 26th of January, Friday
Again I have slept for 3 days...no school, just sleep and no bad dreams either...well no dreams at all...that is kind of boring. I’m feeling very good today, my body is completely healed up, no tiredness lies in it anymore...I could sleep longer, but no, I had to wake up...because today is a very special day for me.
No school today. Today I’ll visit an old friend, I’m doing this for 10 years now and I’m gonna do it until the end of time. Every year at this date I visit the ruins of the church where you died, it’s always full of flowers everywhere you look, all kinds of flowers, from across the world...it’s the least I could do for you...Mello. Rest in Peace my dear Mihael Keehl...
The night of the 27th of January, Saturday, 23:40
In Shinjuku it was raining with thunders and lightnings...the lights gone out...and they got back again...I was on the sofa playing absent with Asahi...and thinking of...
“So this is how your day is going to start...with a heavy rain...or this is just to wash all the evil away, although you are not in this world anymore, you still do a great job in caring...”
Minami and Nishi were in the living room with me, he was smocking like always and she was reading a passage from the Coran. Kita and Lasuto were still on the field, doing the last round and Higashi was resting in his room. After a long silence Minami said
“So...tomorrow is the day...”
I couldn’t get a word out of my mouth.
“If in 10 minutes she doesn’t make a move we are so on...” Minami smiled very excited
It was like I wasn’t even in the room, or the room was empty...
“Mier...” I finally said a word...
“Yes J.J-sama”
“Are you watching the strings?”
“Yes miss, I always watch them...”
“Still nothing?”
“Nothing changed....yet, miss” after she said that she disappeared

The big clock from the holway started to anounce that it’s midnight...and the lights went out again....this time they didn’t come back...everyone was present...around me....we all waited for the clock to stop...

“So it has begun...finally you made your move...” I said with an evil smile on my face.
