The one I want has Richard Chamberlain in the title role. It was a Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation on TV when I was about 12 or so... I really would like that version.
There's a live-action movie version that goes way back into the 70s that I want to get my hands on!!! It's the version that got me hooked on the story.

i love conte cristo! but i haven't been able to find it. last time i watched it was is french class a few years ago. in french, but with english subtitles.
