o.o i don't think i've ever heard a computer groan. my laptop (affectionaly named Stupid) squels when he's not plugged in. he has a very poor battery, so just 10 minutes unplugged and he dies. so as soon as he's unplugged he makes a high pitched whineing noise, crying out for help.
i wish i could help with your ipod, but sadly i am not savy with electronics, and i use a microsoft zune. but ood luck.
