I am glad that the journalism job is going well you really are good at it. I am just amazied at how well you do at it as well.

Man, I wish my school paper was big enough to pay even minimum wage, haha. Regular reporters didn't earn a dime (it was a class, so they got course credit, although freelancers didn't earn a damn thing, aside from the clips), and editors earned a pittance, especially in view of the insane hours we worked. Hell, I worked fewer hours than my comrades, and it was still horrible, so they must have been wiped out by the time the year finished.
