Knowing they could be destroyed.

What is the name of your book? Hmm... Well, to us Espada, everyone else is perceived as being the weaker ones, so 1. we'll ignore you or 2. we'll wipe you out (i.e. pick a fight with you).

As for the Espada picking fights with someone stronger then them. Would 'you' want to fight a weak opponent?
