    If you're doing rough sketches and inking, be sure to make the sketches a different color than the ink. That way you can tell which is which.

    I'm no expert, but I have picked up a couple of tips here and there.

    1. Write a script. In the script, write page numbers, panel numbers, descriptions of what's going on in the panels, character dialogue, et cetera.

    2. Make thumbnail sketches. Just a quick rough sketch of the layout will do. If you aren't sure how to arrange a page, try several arrangements side-by-side and see which one you like best.

    How are you going to be making the manga? Depending whether you go traditional or digital, I might be able to help with that, to an extent.
