When I lose focus on a character, I stick them in a filler. My character Shriners has lots of hobbies so if I can't draw out the character's personality I stick her in a filler chapter using one of her hobbies as a focus.
Hrmm... I can't do a fanfiction from her beginning (the roleplay part starts out when she's young, and most of her childhood is average and boring), and I don't like in-depth profiles (I find them very boring), but you did give me an idea. I'll roleplay her in a completely different fandom with a completely different person and see how she reacts to new characters and stuff.

What I normally do is write a fanfic from my character's start, this allows you to explore parts that you may not have explored before... Or re-write a VERY indepth profile.

She's a fan character of mine, and yeah, I might take a break from roleplaying her.
