There is absolutely no sense in spreading false information, especially in regards to something like this. As a fellow Tumblr user, in no means is this a "hoax." This is very real and a serious issue affecting millions across Tumblr. While this does not personally affect me, I feel it needs to be addressed as much as possible for those who frequent the site. There has already been an unfortunate suicide that came from this. 4chan is taking this beyond where it needed to go and never needed to be in the first place.
