As they were returning to Sakura's bedside, Kyo asked Syaoran if he had made the Giffindor Quidditch team.
"Nope," Syaoran said. "Sakura beat me remember? My Captain asked me why I hadn't made a move to catch it when I had been so close. I'm blind in my right eye."
"You are?" Kyo asked in surprise. "Listen. I think you're an okay guy, so from now on, let's only fight our enemies."
Syaoran smiled. "You mean you want to be friends?"
Kyo looked taken aback. "Not friends! Just allies, who watch out for each other. We can
help protect Sakura together."
"Friends." Syaoran repeated, extending his hand.
"Yeah, whatever," Kyo muttered, and shook Syaoran's hand.
When they returned to Sakura, she was asleep again. Syaoran knelt by her bed and pulled her covers over her. "Sweet Dreams, Sakura hime."
Kyo made turned out the oil lamp that was next to her bed. When Syaoran left the room Kyo was outside waiting for him. "Syaoran, there's something Sakura did not tell you..."
Syaoran's eyes widened as dozens of thoughts entered his mind at once.
Kyo slapped his back. "No it wasn't anything like THAT. She wanted to tell you, she just didn't has the chance to. Come on."
Syaoran followed him to the Great Hall to see Peeves suspended in the air motionless. Syaoran looked at him seriously.
"I didn't do this either." Kyo said with a half smile.
"I never said you-"
"Shhhh!" Kyo motioned him to a far corner of the spacious room. "The truth is," Kyo told Syaoran, "Sakura's not the only one losing her memory."
