Do you have any children? No
What type of school do they go to (e.g. public or private)? Don't have children!
If you had children would you send them to a public or private school? I'd send them to a public school.
Do you believe private school students are better than public? Better in what way? It's scientifically proven that education works better if there are less students in one class, which I believe is the case for private schools, but I don't think private schools have a social advantage over public schools; I think it's not necessarily better to keep children in their own 'safe' social environment. I believe it's best for their social development to mix them with children of all classes of society, if you wish.I'm afraid I'm not making my point very well...x3 I hope you get what I'm saying OTL
Do you agree that the media portrays teenagers in a negative way? I do; most of the times, they're portrayed like antisocial vandals or something.
Do you agree with the way teenagers are portrayed in the media? I don't; I think there's a select group of teenagers who ruin the image of all teenagers.
What are some social groupings you know of, eg populars, goth, geeks, etc? Yeah those...xD Plus the 'misfits'...xP
Do you think teenagers these days have more opportunities? All the grown-ups say we do...:P We definitely have a wider variety of schools and universities we can go to, things we can study, ways to communicate with other people... So in general, yeah, I do think teenagers these days have more opportunities.
Do you think the way children are brought up effects the way they behave and interact with others? Definitely! The way parents choose to raise their children determines greatly how they behave and interact with others. But not only their parents of course, everyone in their environment has a great influence on that.
What do you think are some social expectations that teenagers are expected to conform to? Mostly, they're supposed to listen to specific types of music (like what's 'popular'), the clothes they wear - likewise, and they're supposed to have a specific opinion or view on things.
Do you think there are differences in what is expected from male and female teenagers? Definitely. Girls are supposed to dress 'pretty', like shopping, talk about boys and stuff while boys are supposed to enjoy sports and act rough - to name some examples.
Do you think that there is a difference in intelligence and social expectations between country and city students? Maybe, but I can't be sure of that. I think that country students are more easy-going with each other than city students.
How do you think the media portrays teenagers? Like I said before, as antisocial vandals and things like that.
Do you think the roles and views of teens has changed much in the past 20-50 years? I think so.
If so, how has it changed? People often seem to think teenagers are violent and anti-social. I don't think that's what they thought 20-50 years ago...
What’s your general opinion on teenagers? They're people, they live and make mistakes like people.Idk...xD
