Why not next time he ask to hang out, tell him no. He needs to get the hint your upset. And if he ask why, then tell him because of him not showing, and if he's a true friend he will try and make it better. It's not worth giving up on being is friend, but you need to do something to make this situation better for you. And telling him no could be a good start. I don't want to see you give up on life, your in a rough spot, and not having many friends makes it harder. But I'm here for you, and I wanna stick through and help you during this bad time.
