Haha! XD Yes, it really is a wonderful game...But, ughh...so many parts of it creeped me out...the fact that you're putting on masks possessed by dead characters and etc. etc....The overall feel of the game freaks me out, but it's just as fun to play as Ocarina of Time.
Haha! XD Same thing for me...except...I don't think I've ever gone through the Shadow Temple alone...;m; That is one scary temple....my god...;m;
Yes, time limits are terrible and frightening. Though, they don't really bother me that much, so much that they're just annoying to me...O.o; What freaks me out the most about the Silent Realm is not the time limit, but the poe-ish enemy-things that can awaken them and the water that can awaken them...and them just waking in general...;m; Other than that, though, I didn't find anything about Skyward Sword to be that scary except if you think about the Cistern a tad.
Majora's Mask first impression is really creepy and intimidating, but once you start playing and getting a hang of time management, you come to love everything about it. I seriously love this game to death. The scariest thing in this game for me is the stupid aliens who try to take the cows away. You're giving creepy ghosts, a time limit, and crappy aim, lol.
Ocarina of Time would top my list. Why? THE WHOLE SHADOW TEMPLE! Re-dead, wall masters, and a million other creepy-ass scary monsters. T___T I have to get my brother to beat it for me, although I did beat it once by myself, but it took me a million pause sessions to get my wits and courage together to keep going. xD
And eff the Tear Trials in Skyward Sword. I think anything with a time limit pretty much freaks me out. xD Not to mention, those damn monsters are quick to find and chase you. Once they're unfrozen, you're pretty much screwed.
Haha! Same here! XD I was so excited I was even considering having Scarfies to be my favourite Kirby enemy 'cause they look sorta like cats...I was so excited, hoping that Kirby would turn into some sort of cat thing, but no...;m; That's not at all what happened...'orz
I wish I could play Luigi's Mansion again, but my disc is soooo scratched up it won't even try to play the game....>3> (I miss the times when it would just freeze after a while...)
Ah, Banjo Tooie...it's not just the music...it's the overall feel of the game....but I say this without even trying to play it with music off....XD Maybe I should...but I don't have a copy to play it...O.o;
Ahah! XD Yeah, the graphics are exactly the same as Ocarina of Time...which may make it scarier because you're thinking it's just Ocarina of Time, but it's not all Ocarina of Time. I think the whole point of it being a sort of spin-off (not exactly) game makes you expect the unexpected, and you definitely get the unexpected...
I was going to post a video with much better graphics that is sorta a teaser version of a possible remake for the 3DS (still under consideration, not definitely going to happen), but it only showed the creepiness of the beginning and I didn't think it was a good representation of the game.
Oooh, Scarfies always scare me in Kirby games... ;~; The first time I encountered one when I was little, I was like, "Ooh, I wonder what Kirby will turn into if he eats this?"
BUT THEN EVEN SCARY TEETH CYCLOPES HAPPENS...
Also, that music is terrifying. o_o
And yeah, I definitely agree with you on Luigi's Mansion... used to creep me out so baaaad. ;A; But I've played it through like 5 times, so I'm used to it now... xD
The Super Mario music is creepy too... ;_;
You should just play Banjo-Tooie with the volume off. xD
I've never played Majora's Mask, but the concept of the game seems creepy. And the graphics... ;-; The moon thing scares me...
