DmC is not DMC5...its a reboot. It has no connection to the numbered series. and I know it is happening in a different world thingy

DMC 5 is supposed to be hapening in an alternate world or something like that, it doesnt follow the original franchise.

The fact that Dante is a nephilim says it all

I haven't gotten it yet but when I get it I was planning on probably just starting off on hard. I do that for the DmC games.

I hope i can grow to like him n yeh the anime had the humor and badass attitude the games have which made me watch every episode but i do wish they had made it longer or a series 2

OK! so thats it decided i will buy it since you said its worth a play i'll give it a go. I to love the DMC series i even enjoyed the Anime.... so why not you never know i may like the re-write Dante by the time i've completed it

I would recommend it, I really would. As much as I LOVE the originals, this is a good game. I played it to see how it was, and I was interested in it....plus I am a DMC fan, so I gave it a crack

so would you say it's worth a buy? because i've been kinda hating the idea of a re-boot because i loved the first 4 with the amazing and cool Dante this Dante immitation seems like a joke compared to the original Dante

I had problems with it. Dante having black hair, Vergil being nice, Their mother being an angel.

I liked the animation and stuff, that was fun. Just not the story, because I like the first four DMC games more than I like DmC. Im not saying its a bad game, I just dont favor it
