I'm not strong enough to make a pinch pot, and I'm too clumsy to make a coil pot...sooo...I have to use the spinny thingy which is liike the ONLY good part about ceramics...>.>
Ooooh! That sounds wonderful! O.O Yeahh...I'm not gonna go to a school that only has fine arts...'cause I'm not going to take any Fine Arts classes...My mom and I have already found several schools with classes I like liiike classes for video game concept art. Good jorb, mon...I would do the same thing...Except for this time...this time I'm going to have to cover it up...."orz
I knowww...I kept messing up at this one part in Phoenix Wright and every time I had to wait like 30 minutes to skip to where I need to be because there were no saving points until then..."orz
Yes, yes, I agree. You can't actually lump them all together. It's like putting all painting together...you just can't do that...there are too many different styles. It is a form of art that doesn't seem to be accepted only because they've IGNORED the fact that there really was an art movement called Super Flat of anime and manga...sooo...they shouldn't ignore that. >.>
I KNOWWW, where the heck are the fine art students going to get jobs? Yes, they'll probably be more successful than me at school, but I'll probably be more successful than them when it comes to jobs...>.>
I think I can understand that she's trying to seem cool, but it just makes her look like an idiot...
Yes, yes, I already have 3 outline of the pages done~! :D I dunno how many pages I'll have in the end, though...O.o;
Oh man, tell me about it. Vidjeo games will take up your time like nobody's business.
Sounds like you had a pretty artsy time at the Art Shop thingy.
Yeah, a lot of people don't like manga in portfolios. I personally am 50/50 with that reaction. It's a pretty different style and can seem odd to people who don't know what's all going on with it, plus it's easy to lump all manga styles together if you don't read manga or watch anime ever. Yet at the same time, I feel that it is truly a style of art, just because it's culturally different doesn't mean it isn't.
Whoa, rant alert. But yeah, you see more cartoon-y art than fine art jobs open today. Like in advertising, etc.
Geez, that girl sounds pretty awful. I don't know her and I wasn't there, but if she keeps an attitude like that up... eek.
Well hopefully you get to work on your manga soon~!
