Oh, wow, I didn't know that! *.* Ah, yeah, I hate it when people say that...>.> What's the point of going to a class if you already know the material, so don't make it harder on the other person...>.> It's not like everybody knows what you know.
I'll give you a tip, actually that I've picked up. Collages aren't always just cut-outs of picture and pasted together. We learned about digital collages which they said was just "the integration of several separate elements to create one work." X3 Which means that sometimes when people edit one thing into another to make one seamless picture, that's also a collage. X3 I didn't know that before that class XD; And then other people were all like "Yeah duh, you didn't know that?" So I wanted to punch them in the face and be like "You Arsewholes, that's what I'm in school for! DX<" Lol XD;;
Well, the teachers at my school make us use pictures...which I don't exactly approve of, but it does help us learn some and it's kinda easier...So I think she'd be okay with it.
I'm not going into college or anything, so I don't think they'll be too strict on plagiarizing or anything, and it says that you can get stuff off the internet.
I'm not really the copying kind of person, so I'll probably just put realism stuff in there only or things for reference instead of actually drawn pictures...XD
Only if you use it as a reference for something else. But hey, the person to really ask would be the teacher for the class. Maybe they aren't going to get on you too much about it. We were able to use other materials than our own when we first got started since we were n00b students X3
What about realistic pictures of people off the internet...Like I wanted to get a picture of somebody crying, and I don't think I have the heart to take a picture of somebody while they're crying, so that I can figure out how the face looks when they cry...or something...do you think that would be alright?
Nah, actually, most of them graduate 'cause they've been in scandals and some just graduate 'cause they want to become soloists or be in another group and sometimes Tsunku just decides at random, and sometimes they're sick...A lot of things could make a person graduate...O.o; It's basically like resigning, but...I guess legally...O.o; I dunno, but the media doesn't freak out about it like they would if somebody quit. I guess it gives the singer or whatever a good reputation even though they're leaving so that they'll be okay going onto something else.
I know...I'm addicted...XD Yeah, something about their music isn't as good anymore...hrmmm...>3>
I DO THAT EXACT THING! O.O WOW! XD
Aww, really? That means a lot for you to say that...TT^TT

For your sketchbook, I would say DON'T use pictures off the internet (unless you originally took them) especially in college. Our school is pretty tight about their copyright infringement laws and they highly encourage use of your own materials. I'm sure that'd be the case in other schools, too.
Just put whatever you feel like putting in there. It may start to take on a form of it's own =3
Ah, wow. Do you know what steps they need to graduate from Morning Musume?
I used to follow Morning Musume a little bit a couple years ago, but I stopped for what ever reason. It can get addicting, watching video after video on dances and interviews, LOL.
Tutorials and just going with the flow with art is a very good idea for improvement. What helps me, is I just find an art site and just browse for pictures that appeal to me. Then I save them in folder, and whenever I want to feel inspired, I just open up that folder and click through each picture until I get an idea. But I'm weird, so.
I think your art is really beautiful. Whenever you post something, I'm always studying it and wishing I could draw as good, LOL.
That's cool, you get to keep a sketch book like that for art school. I guess they just want you to put whatever makes you, you into it. Express yourself in creative ways, if you will. No one can tell you how to 'do' art, and everyone has their style, it's just the matter of shaping it into something you can be happy with :]
Well I wish you the best with all that, and keep at it with the lists~!
