Ah, I see. I probably do that to my friends often...make them accidentally watch an R rated movie since I rarely ever watch a movie lower than that...O.o; And, yeah, there are different versions. I've never seen the different versions, though, but there seems to be different versions of everything these days...>3>
I'm guessing the original. I didn't know there were more than one versions '_' I kind of watched it by accident. I was over at a friend's house, and one of her parent's friends was watching it in their living room.
Ah, same here~! Whenever I go on these art websites I get excited when I noticed they have a 'log' of art for me to see, or if somebody posts a sketch dump on DA...X3
Omigosh! *.* YESS! Dunno how they'd do that meme, though....hrmmm...Unless you're meaning like the trololol kind of meme....we could start one! >:D
Ah, I wish I had a family like that! XD We're all interested in movies, but not the same movies. My mom likes artistic romantic movies, my dad likes post-apocalyptic movies, my brother likes gangster movies, and I like war movies...but we all kinda dislike each others likes...'orz I can't think of a movie series we all love. My brother and I like Lord of the Rings, but my dad doesn't. None of us like Harry Potter...XD We all liked the Star Trek movie, and my parents love Star Trek, but I know next to nothing about it...'orz Hrmmm...
Oh...wow...I never noticed that. That's a really great point! O.O Maybe it's just that they have something new to spend their money on! XD But I still think they should combine them...maybe one day they will...*.*
Ah, yeah, I can see how they've been getting more careless. Have you seen the new movies with 'special effects' in them like The Green Lantern? I've seen better special effects in '90's movies...>3>
Oh, yeah, I still love Queen Amidala's clothes. They're still more intricate than everyone else's! XD
Ohh, I LOVE Psycho~! <333 Which one though? I saw the original one...that wasn't really that bad, as you said...XD Most R movies are actually that bad. Like 127 hours, everyone complained about the arm cutting off part, it wasn't that bad...>3> But it's funny that you reminded me of that because the guy who played the 'psycho' in Psycho reminds me of Andrew Garfield (and Shinjiyo Atae) who was in The Imaginarium of Dr.Parnassuss which I've just watched again for liike the 5th time. So it seems to be that kind of day...XD Deja vu! *.*
Oh my! So many lovely sketches~! I don't know what it is, but I love seeing sketches. It's like a mini adventure on paper or something 'u'
I love dat "Just as planned!" face. Man, they need a meme of that face.
Star Wars~! *flails arms around* My whole family got into Star Wars. I mean, we were hardcore junkies. My brothers owned a couple of books and my dad and mom would get into arguments about plot lines and characters motives and stuff. Good times, man.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Queen Amidala. She always intrigued me and I remember I read a chapter or two in a Star Wars book where it was written in her POV. Very interesting. And the fact that Natalie Portman plays her doesn't hurt either :P
I feel like as the movies got more and more modern they dropped the outrageous looks and added more CGI because, well, that's the way most movies are now. If you look at old, old black and white movies that didn't have the technology to add special effects, you'll notice that everything was super fancy. All the ladies had elaborate and elegant costumes and the men's characters' personalities were intricate and the dialogue was well written and clever. Nowadays, you can get away without needing fancy make up, costumes and good dialogue because you can add special effects until the movie is all about explosions and car chases.
I read an article awhile back by a movie reviewer who was talking about how careless movies are getting and it was like someone had lifted up the curtain to reveal the truth to me xD Anyways, I digress.
As simple as it is, I really like the dress she's wearing at 27 yrs of age. Ionno, the design is perdy to me.
Oh wow, you're brave for watching R movies so young xD The first one I watched that I can remember was probably Psycho when I was ten I think >,>;;; But that wasn't really bad.
Yeah, but she got high up in power, wouldn't she have even more intricate costumes!? Then again, a Senator IS different from a Queen....hrmm...
They do kind of look alike, though. Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley...only slightly, though, but I can imagine when they were kids they probably looked a lot alike.
I don't hate traditional art, I just get bored when I'm doing it...>3> Ah, I LOVE doing profiles~! X3 I used to do them all the time. They're very fun! You should watch Otogizoushi, I think you'd like it! >:D
