Ah, yeah of course! I guess my last comment was all directed towards clubs where they did dress up, but yeah. There's a lot of variety when it comes to a host club!
Ah, well, they actually don't dress up. That was just in Ouran...'cause...they wanted to be creative...XD It's just like a club where you can order drinks and guys...XD
Maybe that's at a maid cafe thing...or cosplay cafe....Or maybe it's that host club's style or something, but yeah, they didn't dress up...Well, they did, but only to look handsome, like wearing expensive clothes, and suits, with nice hair. If you've ever seen The Wallflower Live Action (not what it's called, but I don't want to bother with the name) they go into a host club...'cept it's much more civil...XD
Host Clubs... *sigh* Oh host clubs. *rubs temples* Mixed emotions for these things. They're like, not bad? The concept isn't evil. People dress up like things people like and hang out with said people in a building, okay, not bad, that happens at every anime convention. But then you see a few of the people it attracts and it's like, oh dear, oh no, I don't wanna live on this planet anymore. But I guess that's all up to people involved as to how tame it is, or how far it goes. VERY INTERESTING STUFF is what I'm trying to say I guess.
I don't know if it was the same thing or not, but one of my friends watched a thing on Host Clubs, and there was some story of a guy who cross dressed for work at a host club. His girlfriend found his panty hose, and rather than tell her he worked in a host club, he lied and said it was another girl's and his girlfriend broke up with him ;_;
As for one in America, it'd be interesting. I agree with you, I don't think it'd work out too well. ANYWAYS. Sorry for the spiel on host clubs. I'll be quiet about them now.
I WANNA READ YOUR SHOUJO~! That sounds like a story description I'd read on mangafox or something and totally bookmark and read. Go forth, and make manga girlie!

Lemme find a trailer of it if I can...Well, here are the actual guys (from the documentary) talking...the guy on the left was the main guy, Issei. And here is the ending.
Hah! XD Really....XD
