Yes, I feel the same way about Saving Private Ryan. I think it's just because I like Tom Hanks, too...and Barry Pepper...actually a lot of the actors in that film I really liked so I do watch it again, but I don't love it...O.o; (Why'd you watch War Horse?)
Haha! XD Yeah! I thought that would happen, too! Everyone else was dying...*shrugs*
I liked that part, too. I thought it was funny. But I wondered if it was at all realistic...
Yeah, I do like that song, too. But I hate coming across youtube videos with that in it...and most of the time the videos aren't very good so it reminds me of bad youtube videos...>3>
Yeah, that song sets a perfect atmosphere...it reminds me of coffee and rain at an airport....like in a spy movie or something...*3*
Haha I watched War Horse particularly *ahem* for one reason...don't judge me! Hahaha! But yeah aside from that, I thought to myself, "Yes this is very Spielberg." My sister liked it a lot because she's an animal sort of person, so I guess it was okay. I personally wouldn't really watch it again though. I'm just not that into Spielberg so much I guess? I do recognize him as a great director and all, but eh. I did like Saving Private Ryan though, that, I can watch again...maybe because I like Tom Hanks O_o And oh yes, Schindler's List was good too, I liked that one as well. Haha it was funny because when I watched War Horse with my bro, we were trying to predict if the horse's owner was going to die or not, but he never died. I was kind of disappointed XD Not in a way that I wanted the boy to die, it's just that I didn't expect Spielberg would let him live.
But oh! I think the only scene that I really really appreciated (film-wise) was the part when the Germans and British had to set aside their differences to get the horse out of the wire. Eh yeah, that's about it.
50/50...it started out pretty cool, to be honest, but then I was disappointed with this movie as well. It seemed incomplete and it just leaves you scratching your head and wondering, "That's it?" I guess I expected more than what was presented.
Oh man Requiem for a Dream! It's not a bad piece of music....but when you hear it over and over again...I dunno, you just get tired of it! XP I love the Evangelion one too :) very calming haha perfect mood music. I might have to add it to my mood music list XD
