Yeah, I con't like the convenience thing! I liked FE because I had to think before each move and before each attack, which you probably can still do, but it's a lot less thinking. I just worry it won't be as satisfying to complete the game...but that's maybe why there is a Lunatic mode! XD
I'm planning to get Harvest Moon 3DS (and I see a vast amount of evidence that my mom bought it for me for my birthday) so I will definitely rant about it (probably even more) if I get it.

Yeah I agree, I was really iffy about the new character designs (mostly the clothes), and still am a little. I just don't like that you can no longer tell it's FE by looking at it. And it's giving me Final Fantasy vibes, not that I don't like Final Fantasy, but I just want FE to stay unique.
For me, the voice acting didn't add too much to the gameplay because they're such short little phrases. But I can just imagine going back to older games and feeling empty without them XD I'm also really excited about getting the Japanese voices in the full version of the game. Chrom's English voice just doesn't fit my expectation.
Also on the point of convenience, I didn't think they could simplify the damage chart when you engage in battle, but apparently you can. It's like they don't expect us to know any math anymore XD
On a different note, have you played Harvest Moon A New Beginning for 3DS? If you did, maybe you could let me know what you thought of it? Thanks =]
Ahh, yeah! They're so addictive and in a terrible way...where you feel bad for putting it down because then you feel 'Oh no, I didn't do anything on Harvest Moon today'...or knowing that when you pick it up again you will forget everything you were aiming to do...'orz Ah, but they're still so great...XD
Wow, at least you did something fun like playing a video game :) I think I did nothing...maybe.... :P
I remember when I was hook on one of the harvest moon games, they are really addicting, yep.
