I either make everybody sad, mad, uncaring, ignorant, or just don't know that their dead. Sometimes I even make them happy! ^ ^ Like if they killed them they are happy, satisfied, or crazy(in my character from Sakura Petal's Emily's case). I just make most of it random. Actually it's more like my characters are alive or I am so use to them I just write whatever.
All my manga have sad endings. I always like making everybody die in my manga. Kinda cliched, but it's so fun! ^ ^ I mean, SOMETHING sad has to happen, something has to have big twist. But right now I'm unsure of what or who should die in Alice...I was thinking Alice, but that'd be stupid.
YAY! SPOILERS!! Unless it's Fire Emblem I love spoilerzz! ^ ^ Okay so here's my quick summary:
A young high schooler is obsessed with her neighbor, best friend, and class mate Kei(or Kei-chan). Every night she taps on his window and talks to him. Kei-chan has a girlfriend, the girl doesn't like her, but tries her best to make Kei happy. His greedy girlfriend is just using him to get to Hawaii and the girl frinds out. She tells Kei and becomes more of a friend to him(if ya know what I mean) and freaks out. The next day he taps on her window to try and talk to her to apologize, but she won't open the windows. He climbs over and she finally opens the window, he falls to his demise! The girl is so sad she contact Jigoku Shoujo to kill his old girlfriend and finally does. Then a new guy moves in next door and she becomes obsessed with him.
The ending is so sad because after all her obsession it wasn't even real!!
And all my favorite movies end sadly(except for the Lord of the Rings. I loves Frodo, too but I love Gollum more. Don't ask why I just do!):
End of Evangelion(it ends with Asuka calling Shinji disgusting)
The Green Mile(it ends when Paul's story ends when John Coffey is executed even though he's obviously innocent)
Flags of Our Fathers(possibly happy since we won World War II, but since so many died, and even the main characters died in the sadest possible way it has a sad ending)
Letters From Iwo Jima(Japan lost World War I all remaining japanese were kidnapped, and the guy who kept trying to cause suicide lived.)
And that's about all of my favorites...oh, and:
Se7en(It ends when the murder gets shot, but the main character goes to jail and his wife's head ends up in a box not to mention her baby the he never knew was in her died.)
Sad endings are so much more interesting to me! ^ ^
Darn! I accidentally clicked out of here when I was about to post!! Well...basically what I was going to say was that Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ended badly because it ended happy and I don't really like happy endings, plus I don't care what happened to Frodo, Bilbo, OR Sam. I usually leave the movie theatre thinking whatever happened to so and so, but it's better left unsaid. And This Ugyly Yet Beautiful World ended kinda like Pita-Ten except I don't really know what happened since the girl died...so how could they have made a child if she's dead(not exactly, she returned to her true form which was a star...) so I didn't like it.
I'm known as a cry-baby, but I've never cried about a movie or anime until Hell Girl(or The Green Mile; poor Eduard!!). People though I was mean, rude, and a terrible person when I couldn't stop laughing when this one retarded kid's mom died in this one movie called Radio. I laughed because the scene had terrible acting in it and everybody else was crying. I'll tell you about the third episode in a quick summary(SPOILERZZZ!!!) to see if it SOUNDED sad enough to watch. Just tell me if you want to hear it and are okay with spoilers.
Yes, endings are more important than beginnings. I got really flustered(new word! I got it out of reading the Hobbit, though I don't think I used it right) at the end of Ouran High School Host Club(ze animoo) because nothing happened! Nobody confessed to anything! And we've known for a while that Haruhi has become more loyal to the host club, the last episode was crap. And also with the last episode of Hell Girl...only 'cause it ended!! All the endings in Hell Girl were perfect, they left me thinking more about life and how I can make it better(not exactly...) and they always left me crying especially the second season's. You should see it! You'll keep crying even if you watch an episode twice(like the third episode of season 2...I cried for so many reasons!!).
Gah! I find that very frustrating. I sometimes do that (in Sakura Petal's case), but for Alice I started it...then I started thinking ", How can I actually make this into a story with an interesting ending?" so I'm stuck there. I like ending better then beginnings though.
Thank you...but I always have to think of an ending before I cna actually start writing it(but I'm already into about 4 pages of it using you advice).
And you're welcome for mentioning your name, it needed to be said since you are so kind!! ^ ^ Anyways...I have been drawing a lot on paint since my brother is hogging the computer with manga studio on it, so it will also take be a while to start actually drawing it(until maybe when school starts because he has tons of clubs, so do I, but he has LONGER clubs). And sadly I can't post anything until I get new internet. So it'll be long, long wait until then. SORRY! ^ ^
