I own my self a '00 Subaru Impreza and it's awesome car! BUT it's so hard to find parts for it! I can use most of big parts from other Subaru cars (like Engine, Trans, & etc), but small parts, I gotta go to dealer to buy it (T-T). But when snow hit the ground! I feel so safe driving that car! If where you live snow! Subaru is totally the way!

Lexus RX09? You mean RX series like RX400h or RX350? Hm.... Those aren't bad, but how the gas price is going up, it's not going to be fun car. It's 3.5 liter V6 engine, so it's suck gas like nothing. Even with RX400h which is V6 hybrid engine car to have good gas mileage..... But due to V6 engine, it aint't helping a bit.
If you're aiming for mini-SUV, then try looking around New Subaru Forester or Toyota RAV4. RAV4 come both in v6 or s4 engine, but if you choose s4 engine it gives you a lot more gas mileage than RX series. Forester is H4 engine and it's awesome! You can choose NA or Turbo for option too. Both Forester & RAV4 come with AWD, so you can go anywhere (Even offroad if you like)! Both price rang are $15k~$20k cheaper than RX series. Plus due to "Lexus" title your insurance will go up like crazy too! RAV4 and RX series use same parts, so think RAV4 as nicer twin brother of RX350. Better price & insurance for same car. LOL

Nah, nothing sporty. Though I like how they look and all, I just don't see myself in a sporty car. I'm more into the luxury line...though it will take several years before I can afford anything in the luxury line! I'm leaning more towards Lexus RX09. I prefer vehicles that are higher off the ground (easier to see) but aren't so outrageously big. I haven't read into all the features of a RX09, but my boss has an older model. I've ridden with her a couple of times and I love the performance.

Eh, I got a Kia Rio. I needed something cheap that I didn't have to take a loan out on. I mean, school is costing me enough. I don't need loans to add to the expenses! The Rio is around the same size as the Corolla...so, small like a Corolla.

Lol! I suppose that's true. It surprises people sometimes to see me changing the oil in my car (I'm a girl, btw). It's not like I have much of a choice though. My car is so small and I'm the only one in my family who can fit under it (and my dad refuses to do it for me). As for the other dirtier and heavier stuff, I coerce my brother and dad into doing it for me! I'm in college too, so I use any method I can to save money. ^.^
LOL, a lot of ppl even can't change the oil or check for fluids, so you're few steps head of them. My rims aren't that heavy. Average weight of rim is 19~22 lbs + tires so around 30~35 lbs for total. My sets are weight 20.7 lbs for each, so less work for me. Lighter is better right? Make other ppl do dirty jobs is always bad thing. LOL, but sadly, I'm a college student so it's cheaper to fix it by myself instead of paying someone to do it. And it's a lot more fun (if I don't hurt myself too much).
About the only thing I can do to my car is change the oil and check all the fluids. I might be able to change the tire if I had to (though putting one on might be too heavy for me). As for the other stuff, I have not clue! T.T Anyway, I think it's awesome that you can make your car all nice and cool. I'd definitely have to pay someone if I wanted to do that.
