It's my theme right now my world ha s a nurse background and then I have this nurse avi that I made from a bunch of pics I have. ま、弟がこっちの大学行った時は、
「日本人と話さず、外国人と話しなさい！」って厳しく言ったしな～。笑
俺の経験から言ったら、５ヶ月で聞く、話す、書くの基本は覚えれるよ。
俺が１２でアメリカに来たときはアルファベットも知らなかったよ。
それで、母から「６ヶ月で話せるようになりなさい。」っと言われて、
５ヶ月とチョットでこっちの中１レベルの英語が話せる世になったよ。

ま～それはさて置き、
お～～～絵柄の絵！それは楽しみ！！！
ん～～チヨピーの模写は後もチョットチヨピーの絵を見ないとできなな～。
それに、チヨピーはSL（Single Line）タイプだから俺には結構キツイ。
ま～でも、いつかやってみるね。

俺だけじゃなく結構俺の家族両サイド本音を言ってくれる人は大好きみただよ。ま、両サイド色々と大きいビジネスしてるから嘘を言われるのが大嫌いなのかな？

I totally get what you mean, Icchan~ It's nice to copy other artist's style sometimes, but then you can lose your own style~ I tried copying CLAMP's style before, Koge Donbo's, and the recent Ito Noizi's~ But it didn't work out and I just kept drawing and drawing to where it evolved in my own way~

But, still, you did a heck of a good job mirroring my style~ I'm still amazed~~ Great job, Icchan~ **hug**

I just finish posting a comment on your blog. It's crazy to see so much rain... Well let me restate that. I remember one time, whole week of rain! I change my clothes 3 times a day, and it wasn't good enough to keep myself dry. If I wear a raincoat I'm wet from the sweat. If I use the umbrella, I'm wet from strong wind blowing rain on me... Just loose, loose situation. LOL

Also, I'll comment on your drawing tomorrow. It's 1am here, so I gonna hit the bed.

Yeah, pretty close to Saku Sensei's drawing isn't it? There are several things the different from Saku Sensei's drawings:

• Hair Style. If you look more Saku Sensei's drawings you can tell what I'm talking about.
• Light/Shading. I try to copy best as I can... But it's noticeable difference.
• Colors. Saku Sensei's colorings is more softer than my colors. Example are Skins.

There are few more, but When you see it, you'll see the difference.

I notice in you avi that you're having Nurse fetish going on. LOL, I don't wanna admitted it, but NICE! LOL

Hey, that's awesome to get advice from a well known anime character designer! I'm especially wowed that you took his advice to heart it's very good to see you do that.

By the way style looks the same to me. ...I bet if someone did find some difference after the person says what it is it would look obvious to me and I'd be disappointed I couldn't find it. But right now it looks like her style, straight up.

Yup, well, I think that that's the best way to learn and practice. :3 It's the easiest and best way to get better!!! Taking hints and skills from others...trying out other styles. You won't lose your own, only improve it. <3

Wow!! You can copy drawing by hand like that! That's amazing! Is the picture at the bottom the one you drew? If so, I can't tell a difference between your drawing and the original!
I can see what you mean about having that copying talent being a bad thing. You could loose your own drawing style. Then again, I can understand when the editor said copying other styles helps you develop your own. You can practice so many drawing styles and find the one (or develop) that you like the best.

まずは、英語が訛るってとこから。
人間って１年もそこに住んでたら、訛るもんだよ。
もちろん、人によろけどね。
ハワイに２年間住んでて、ユタ州に戻って来た時には、
俺の英語は目茶目茶訛ってたよ。
他の例えは、俺の弟がアメリカに１年住んでたけど（２年前）
弟は「全然」って言うほど英語がダメだったけど、
１年後、英語が上手くなったけど。。。
英語は訛ったユタ州の英語になったよ。笑

ま～絵の方は、そ～ね、俺のいい訳にしか聞こえないと思うけど、
模写をしすぎると、自分の絵を描いててもなんか、
自分の絵じゃない気分にならない？
「あ！この所、＊＊＊＊の絵に似てる」とか、
「ん～～何で、＊＊＊＊＊＊＊見たいな顔になるかな～」とか？
もしかして、それってエゴ？笑

あ！それと、プロでは無い人の絵を模写っとも悪くは無いよ。
結構個性的な絵があって、良い勉強になるよ。
