I am still learning a lot of diffeences from the old site. When I went to Death Valley the second time, my friend spots little critters that I miss. The brine snails, caterpillars and skinks I would have missed. I have decided to take little trips when I can, it refreshed mind and soul! Where have you posted pictures of the train trails? I would love to see. It is so good to read your postings, food for thought! I saw some interesting lizards, one reminded me of a small dragon. Camera shutter speed is too slow, I need to be able to make adjustments easier-- film cameras were more flexible. This past week, I got the opportunity to see a cavern-- haven't done that for years. We were in Missouri---it was so interesting, and striking. I think I would like to learn just a little more about rocks and geology. But right now, they are pretty in colour, and very striking how they vary in appearance. Helps me to just take some time to appreciate. Hope you have had a good week!
Take me there with you!!! I LOVE THE PICTURE! It totally reminds me of when I went to Arizona. ... But I didn't see desert flowers. Just the desert. ...LOL
This is beautiful! If I get a job, I'm saving some money to go back to AZ!!!
Let's see if I can handle this new comment system.
Wow, that's a beauty of a shot, reminds me of West Texas where I used to live, only with mountains
Only living thing I saw on my recent trail trek were tadpoles in the run off next to the trail, and frog eggs in the water too, which was a first for me.

Sounds like a nice, relaxing place to visit.
