(Short Story) The Undying- Based off of Vampire Knight

It was cold, colder than normal. Snowflakes dampened the once dry, serene air of Japan, and death was in the air.
Yuuki shivered as a gust of icy wind almost lifted her from the ground, overlain with drifts of snow.

"Mama?" Her voice trembled, where was mama? Yuuki remembered her mother's voice...

"Run, Yuuki! Run far away!" Then the fire had consumed her.
