Yea, I thought it was carpal tunnel at first, but then I remembered the symptoms of it, and I don't really have those. My wrist is a lot better now, so I'll just have to take your advice to not trigger it again! :D
Ah its totally fine for the short reply, I definitely understand!! Also just wanted to tell you that something slight like a tickle or straining it with a pencil or mouse-use will set it off again =_= So just be careful! Get well soon!
Ah one thing that helped was when I changed my wooden pencil to a mechanical pencil and when I stopped doing little things with my sore hand. I thought it was carpal tunnel syndrome, but it didn't seem as serious. just take it easy and stretch and get your shoulder/elbow massaged^^
"Carpal tunnel syndrome is pressure on the median nerve -- the nerve in the wrist that supplies feeling and movement to parts of the hand. It can lead to numbness, tingling, weakness, or muscle damage in the hand and fingers." Taken from here:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001469/
yeah, if the pain keeps going on til you feel numbness, you might want to look into that. My mom has had carpal tunnel for years, sometimes she couldn't grasp things, but it's way much better now when she took care of herself. If you're feeling better, then maybe it's a temporary thing. Probably some joint issue or something. Take care!
Isn't carpal tunnel when your hand becomes numb due to the nerves being compressed? My hand isn't really numb or anything, it just seems to crack often and when it does, the pain spreads a lot.
It got a bit better today, though! :D
Carpal tunnel? Maybe if you left that wrist alone for a while, it'll go back to normal. I've had moments like that, and it's when I realize I've got to stop playing guitar so much, hahaha! Yeah, you might need to keep yourself from using the keyboard so much if it hurts really bad.
Yea! Mine's REALLY similar to that! It's a little better now, but the pain is still there, when compared to the no pain I have in my left wrist.
(Sorry it's short, but I don't want to hurt my right wrist too much)
LEA! I'm not supposed to be online right now, gotta go walkie walkie xD But I had to comment on this post!! (I will comment on your wallies next chance I get!!!)
Ok so a couple years ago, I was playing a wii game with my brother and I tweaked my wrist. After that, typing on the computer or playing my own gameboy would set it off into this throbbing pain in my thumb that most times ended up excrutiatingly working its way across my carpal tunnels to my pinkie finger side D8 And it was my right wrist.
Why I tell you all this?! Cuz now I'm a lot better! It used to happen to me every couple weeks. It didn't crack as much as yours is seeming to, but it was around the thumb area. Do you mean your wrist hurst 3 inches below the wrist between your wrist and elbow, or 3 in between fingers and wrist?
Also can you bend it at all? Like if you were to get up off the ground, can you push yourself up with it? Does it only hurt when you move it? Sorry for all the questions, I'm not a doctor or anything anyway xP
BUt it looks like the same thing happened to me and my parents really didn't understand how serious it was cuz it would randomly go away and then come back. And maybe the water ended up putting pressure on a certain point in your arm... or there might be a pinched nerve in your shoulder or elbow that runs to your wrist. You should get your mom maybe to massage your shoulder and wrist. It hurts, but it'll really help! Also, I don't know if ice worked for me, but you wanna make sure to stretch (look up wrist stretched on the computer). It could be just overworked too much. Try not to type!!
Yeah so stretching is a big key, and compress it with a bandage wrap. It'll feel lots better!
Sorry for the terribly long email, you know me xD I hope I helped you a bit! get well soon!

I thought it comprised of part of the wrists too.
