I used "in" after "hone" to embed it into my memory that the preposition after "hone" is "in", in case anything like that will eventually appear in the grammar section of the SAT, so I did realize that it was superfluous. :P (I'm not trying to give any pretexts by explaining that. xD)

LOL Ironically, here, the public schools have 10x better education than the private school I'm at. Totally not worth the price because it's so expensive but the education isn't that great. West.

But I've had one more year of high school than you so I've had more "preparation". /feels stupid

Hey, girl. Even though I'm still a sophomore, we're the same age. xD The first time I took the PSAT, I got a projected score of 1700, so it's not that much of a difference, trololol. And your improvement is so big, I gotta learn from you.

And the only reason I skipped a grade was because my parents wanted to save one year's worth of private school tuition LOOOOL. My sister skipped a grade too for the very same reason.

And you're still a sophomore? o___O Wow you have a really high SAT score for a sophomore LOL. When I was a sophomore, I think I got like a 1600 on the PSAT (well, a projected SAT score of 1600 anyway)

that is unless I get really lazy and end up direly unprepared

To improve I memorized around 50 vocab words daily (of course I forgot some of them now since I haven't studied in like 2 weeks LOL), I read around two articles on NYtimes and washingtonpost each... that only lasted two days. I skimmed through Barron's and PR's study guides for the SAT one day, and the rest was practice tests.

Woah, how'd you practice? Just by taking tons of practice tests? Getting 2400 is pretty hard! You need to get practically everything right! And writing essays is such a bore. I went from 1700s to 2200s during this summer. >.> I'd always been lazy before.

Nah, I'm going into 10th grade. GOSH. YOU MUST BE REALLY SMART. *total respect* I wasn't able to skip because since my childhood was spent in China, my english wasn't really good in elementary school, and it's harder to skip in middle school, so yeah.

I'm aiming for a 2300+, and ideally, a 2400.
At first, I was scoring like, 1500s but I practiced enough to where I got my score to a 2400. I got a 2400 on several practice tests in a row, but then I decided to get lazy... |D
Now I dropped back to mid 2200's and need to get it back up to 2400. :(
