Heh... What a misunderstanding. She probably got interested in manga driving style since it is getting popular and stumbled upon this site thinking that it is all hand-drawn by amateur artists.
Though I don't know how she didn't notice that.... The are called wallpapers and there is also a different section for fan art, she could have noticed the difference in quality and style of making, but ah well..

There are some good amateur artists on minitokyo as well who do indy art (which sometimes is so good that you could think that it is a scan from original mangaka). BUT sometimes someone just vectors images and claims as their art, which is partially true, but people like those are also looking for those who draw.

Ah, it makes much more sense now xD.
