I'm not sure about firends but you could "subscribe" ppl (I just subscribed you ^__^) You hav to click the little heat next to the word subscribe in their portfolio :]

I'm confused with it too...as far as I can tell, you have to individually go to all your old friend's World accounts to add them...you can't just simply move all your friends from myO. Such a pain. With the stuff along the bottom...I have no idea either...although I do know with the publication one it's for if you had written an article or something and you thought it should be added to the front page then a mod would look at it and decide whether or not to put it on the main page.
Babysitting does earn you a lot of money...granted you don't get a cheapskate. I remember one time, I babysat a toddler for 8 hours and they only gave me $10!!!! I was so mad and so were my parents. I never babysat for them again. Hmph!

Heyo. I'm amazed you found me! It seems like a hard thing to do on here, huh? XD The easiest way to find people and add them is this:
Go through your MO friendslist
go to everyone's portfolios
You'll end up on theO
then click on the heart+ next to "subscribe", which is the equivalent of "add friend."
Make sense? I hope so! Hehe, I always wanted to try out the bullet-points...so I did. XD
I'm glad you figured out how to post though! I just visited your MO before this, and you didn't know how. *laugh* As for those things on the bottom--I dont' know what "shorten to new page" or whatever is, but the publication option is mainly for people with fanfics. You click that if you want to submit your post to be featured on the main site for everyone to see. Like I said, mainly people with essays, stories, etc. do that.
