Also, don't expect to lose a pound each day if you do exercise or something. Losing a pound (if you're under 25% BMI) per week is NORMAL. So you really have to commit yourself to it.

I avoided junk food (mainly sweets) for lent. lol I basically kind of starved myself since there's never enough different types of food in our kitchen. I even ate ramen some days and yet I still lost a lot of weight. I mainly ate whatever my mom cooked (meats, rice etc) and some fish and fruits & veggies. So there was no snack time at all for me those 40 days.
So if you want to lose a lot of weight, you have to do it over a long long period of time. 40 days is more than a month lol and it was painful but it was okay because I did it for my religion. lol I had no idea I was going to lose so much weight but that's okay o: I'm glad I lost so much. lol -wasn't expecting it at all-
So yeah, maybe you should see a nutritionist or-- make a list. Make a list of ALLLL the foods you like to eat and see which ones are good for you to eat and which ones are not. Then you can decide what to eat. If you want to spice it up each day, tell your mom and dad what to buy for you and etc. That way, you don't starve yourself like I did on some days when there was not enough food for my "diet."

ah thank you : 3!! i know.. it takes a while to see anything... my mom and dad said they see a difference, my friends do too... i just dont see it xD lol. and yeah.. the goal is to lose like 1-2 pounds a week... blahhh so hard @_@

If you need help I can help you since that involves my background and major but both of them are right but honestly you won't see results that quickly because it DOES take time. Most importantly, if you are already lean the results will not be seen right away, and the average is 2-3 months before you see anything. That's why people give up. But if you want some advice I am more then willing to help you!

i need to just find a larger variety of things to eat.. or see a nutritionist... cuz i have no idea what i'm doing and my dad's diet plan isnt working well for m XD

drink a lot of water & eat a lot of citrus fruits (will kill fat), avoid sweets, anndddd you know-- it takes longer to lose weight if you're already under 25% of BMI. So if you're already skinny, then it'll take longer. If you're fatter, then you'll lose a lot more. XD
I never exercised during 40 days of lent and I lost 15 pounds. lol

*pats on back* I totally know what you mean. .__. I never work out, but lately I have been...because I've gained weight, and I've had to give away most of my jeans cause they don't fit! And yet, despite what I've done and not eating as much...argh, I'm still the same, too. :/ So I totally sympathize. *hugs* :(
