Yeah, don't worry my dear girl, we're all here for you! I try to comment on every single person's stuff too whenever they update it, so I can understand what you're going through. I have 68 subscribers, and it's sad to say that only a few actually take the time to comment on my world, as for the fan art I guess you can say lots of people do. Not that I'm trying to be mean here, but that's a fact. Anyway, I do hope things work out for you, and I'll try to comment as much as I can too, I hope things between your father work out, have a great day~~ ^^
Yeah people do just subscribe for the hell of it. basically if you subscribe to someone they'll add you back with or without knowing you (hence why i dont' get big into the subscribing thing)...

I'm not very knowledgable of your situation. I only have 16 subscribers and only two or three really comment on my stuff, not to mention some random people.
But, usually when I get the chance, I comment when people update anything.

*nods* Well Rachel-chan if you haven't noticed a lot of people on this site tend not to comment unless you comment back and vice versa. Also school has started for a LOT of people so mind that they are busy too. I bet almost all of your 160 subscribers are in school and busy with work right now.
Oh and also mostly friends keep up with your updates, not just subscribers. Most of my subscribers subscribed because of my art, not for my updates, so perhaps that's why? I don't know but mostly it's my friends that comment my posts.
I've got 79 subscribers and I get about 10 comments even though I don't comment a lot, but I leave really long comments whenever I DO get to comment and I keep in touch with friends(which I know, you can't do because of your computer) so they usually comment whenever I get a chance to post.
Anyways moving on~
I hope you're doing okay though ^^ and that your computer works better soon as well!

I know what you mean. About 10% of the people who've subscribed to me actually comment on my posts. (I haven't done any art lately to get comments on those.) It does get a bit irritating at times, but look at it this way: the ones who comment all the time are probably your real friends. On The Otaku and MyOtaku, I keep in touch with less than twenty people, and considering I've subscribed to over 100 people, that's not very much. Still, those who I keep in touch always comment on my posts and stuff, so they're the ones I consider my good friends.
You also have to remember that school has started, so more people have less time on here. One problem I face is my limited amount of free time with me going to school and work, so I'm not on TheO all the time. I also miss people's updates and stuff in my backroom. Their links get pushed out and I don't even know that they post. It's frustrating.
Anyways, though I don't always comment on your posts, it's not that I'm being mean or anything, its just that I got really busy and couldn't find the time. Between working two jobs and going to college, its hard to find free time. Just know that I'll try to comment when I can. ^.^
At any rate, here's a hug to cheer you up!! *massive bear hug* ^.^
