I finally turned around and noticed I was standing alone. All the students worrying had faded away for some strange reason, along with their presence. But ten feet away was the strange, kind boy.
Please be careful, and don't get run over." Now there was slight mocking.
"Wait," I pleaded, "what's your name?"
"Hm? Oh, Donovan. And yours?"
"Oh, um..." I couldn't get the words out, just because of the idea of him wanting to know me. "I-I'm O-Odette Bridge." Dang stuttering.
I swear I heard him chuckle, too. But I let it go. The bell was going to ring for first hour. Great. It's Calculus class. I think I'd prefer Science or English class. Those were easier.
My classes passed slowly along with the rest of the day. The most exciting part was lunch.
I went to go sit in my seat after I paid for my food, but I noticed the area was overly populated with new faces. All of them were heavenly gorgeous and staring into space in different directions. It really didn't make any sense. Usually, everyone sitting at the same table were talking.
