Thats cool always keep drawing to stay consistent in your art work. That was a great advice given to me by my mentor he use to work for fox animation studio. Stay humble
Oh, okay well I actually started here at around 2007 but was on my friend's account, back then it was MyOtaku and had similar page layout to myspace. It was cool because you could put flash games and music and just a whole bunch more stuff on there then transferred over to TheOtaku on 2008. Trust me, there was a TON of people back then. :/ It isn't that the change was that terrible but there was a couple of weeks where nobody could log-in and new user registration was closed off for a while too; which might have dissuaded people from coming back.
But I did notice that around two or three years ago it just started to spiral down fast

I joined back in 2009. It was extremely active to me.it dwindled around mid-2010.after that,it's been nearly dead. I moved to deviant art when it was getting bad because I wanted my work to be critiqued so I could improve. I stayed here on the side and watched as it continued to basically halt.
Then, in 2012, I lost internet and went off the grid until now.
I think it's just that either people have grown out of the site, or have found other websites to express themselves. It really started off back in 2008 with the huge site modification. I don't think it ever really recovered from that.

@LGA775:
I was online all day long. In that time only six new artworks were posted by others and one of my subscribers updated one thing.
