Gah! I hate when that happens with my retainer. I forgot to put it on when I went to California for a week last year, and when I did put it on I was like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU that hurts!" So I always try to remember to keep it on to avoid pain. But at least I don't have braces anymore!
