Feels for this place. Yeah, I guess I do too. I was 17 and now I'm 23. I haven't been updating too terribly much but I actually visit every day. I've been kinda podcasting and making websites. I'm actually writing a soon to be published graphic novel. I'll be looking forward to what new things you'll be making here.
I feel very similarly about this place. Its why I returned as well. Though the un-customizability(yes I do still create words to fit the situation)of the worlds does bug me quite a bit.
I am still into Hellsing and Inuyasha though I have since found other Anime loves as well. As a matter of fact, I was just talking to my little sister today about starting to watch Inuyasha. I will make her an Otaku. It just hasn't happened yet(though she will sometimes sit and watch Naruto with me)! Yea, I do watch Naruto and Bleach too. I have had people give me a lot of grief over that. x.x The Uchiha fascinate me okay! *chuckles*
As for art styles. I'm still struggling to find mine and I have recently begun to delve into the world of digital art too. Still learning though. It is a long process.
