Well, here's to evolution and bettering our beloved site. And the best way to keep that happening is to keep looking back at what it was. Much appreciation to You and Adam for making this site was it is today.

I lost a lot of friends when V.V. was introduced. They just didn't want to stick around and see what it had to offer. I personally am glad that I remained. If for some stupid reason Bossman decided to go back to the old version I would seriously cry. It's so much easier to find comments and updates, I don't know how we ever lived without.
As for things I would like to see. Well I think this is what Hiko was trying to imply but I would like all of my messages to remain bold unless I have opened them. Because you read one, reply to it, and when you go back to read the others they're not in bold print anymore so you actually have to sit there and figure out "Okay have I read this one yet?"
It would also be nice to have the cosplay section back ;A; Pretty please?
I find it kind of ironic since by then, I was more into OB and didn't really use myOtaku much. I'm still not super busy over here, but since the switch and especially since chat was launched, I spend more time here.

I used to miss MyO, but then I actually started using VV. Now, I woun't want to go back to MyO even if someone payed me. I love all the new features and improvements VV has. I don't see what people are complaining about. I mean, you guys still kept MyO for them to use, right?
It really is a lot of you take a look. If you included everything, that list would be quite a bit longer too. o_O I wasn't around for myOtaku, but I certainly do enjoy the version we have now. ^_^
My mom used to own a Chrysler New Yorker that I think used to be her brothers' or something. That thing was crazy posh. Big ol' car, digital displays, really comfortable inside... was made back when TALKING CARS was a sign of brilliance (even though now it just feels cheesy).
Except it also needed premium gas.
And at some point it started breaking down and kept telling us that "your engine oil pressure is low; prompt service is required."
The Chrysler Concorde that came after we got rid of the New Yorker didn't talk much . . . but y'know, despite all the good times, we didn't miss that New Yorker that much.
Well you know the ones I really really want. :D
But what I've noticed is that there aren't many more features for subscribers, so maybe more stuff for them? :D
But I hope we keep moving forward and getting cooler stuff!
Oh one thing that I would like is changing the pm thing. Like I'll have 2 pm's and when I go to check who they are from I dont always want to reply to them, but if I go see who its from then I wont remember since it will say I have 0 new messages. I dont know if you know what I'm talkign about lol

Heh. I honestly don't mind complaints or suggestions, I just get tired of explaining, again and again, that myOtaku simply isn't capable of doing what Version Vibrant can.
But yeah, it's easy for me to see, as staff, that the site has done nothing but grow since it was launched. So I figured this would help, at least a little, with making it easier to see for others too.
Looking back is always fun, to remind you of the good times that you had. But yeah, looking forward, keeps you from missing the good times that are also happening right now. =P

It's good to look back at where we've been... It also helps in looking at where we're going.
