Hehe. My first instinct when that happened (after I got over being startled) was to find the spider and squash it.^^ Though once my character woke up in front of her little home the spider was gone when I went back. XP

Oh and I forgot to mention it in my post, but you shake the trees and sometimes money or furniture falls out. But sometimes, you knock a hive of bees out and they sting you! o_O

It is rather funny that the spider will clobber you. :p I didn't jump like that but I do remember being surprised the first time it happened to me in the game. Heh.
